Serving as a board member for the Center for Financial Training and Education Alliance (CFTEA) has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Being on the board of CFTEA provides a unique opportunity to connect with professionals who share a passion for learning and development in the financial industry. The networking aspect alone has been invaluable—I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with talented individuals across different institutions, exchanging ideas, and working together to enhance training opportunities for our teams.
One of the aspects I appreciate most about CFTEA is the ability to directly shape the courses and certificates that support career growth in banking. Being involved at this level allows me to ensure that the programs are relevant, impactful, and aligned with the evolving needs of our industry. It’s fulfilling to know that our collective efforts contribute to the professional development of so many individuals.
Beyond that, my involvement with CFTEA has allowed me to champion this incredible nonprofit (with top-notch, individualized customer service) within my own bank, Claremont Savings Bank. Promoting CFTEA’s training solutions has not only helped employees grow in their careers but has also reinforced a culture of continuous learning within our organization. Whether it’s guiding colleagues toward the right learning path or leveraging CFTEA’s resources to fill skill gaps, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact this organization has on both individuals and institutions.
CFTEA is truly a place where professionals come together to innovate, support each other, and drive meaningful change in financial education. I am proud to be a part of an organization that is making such a lasting difference in our industry.
