Spotlight on Success: Sarah Fleischer, Community National Bank 🌟
When Sarah Fleischer started at Community National Bank in 2022, she brought strong customer service experience, but no banking background.
Today, she is stepping into her new role as Treasury and Municipal Specialist, and she is clear about what helped her get there: “My confidence and success in these positions I attribute, in large part, to my training with CFTEA.”
Her first course, ABA’s Principles of Banking, changed how she saw her work: “Most importantly, the class helped me gain a deeper understanding of the various tasks I handle every day as a banker, which helped solidify the importance of why we do what we do.”
As Sarah moved toward treasury responsibilities, fraud awareness became essential. CFTEA courses helped her feel prepared: “These courses are thorough and very current, giving me a strong knowledge base of what to look for and how to educate my customers.”
She also values learning alongside colleagues at her bank: “These are my favorite classes to take because they are led by a respected, knowledgeable colleague and involve helpful discussions with my coworkers.”
And like many CFTEA learners, she highlights the support behind the scenes: “Whenever I have any questions, Tammy from CFTEA is always there for me… I feel comfortable knowing that as banking changes, CFTEA will help us stay up to date!”
Sarah’s journey is a great reminder that growth in banking happens step by step, with learning that builds confidence along the way.
Congratulations, Sarah, on your new role and continued success. 🎉
