A huge welcome to our newest council member, Natalie! CFTEA Regional Advisory Council members provide key insights into the needs of the community and provide professional expertise with diverse perspectives. They are truly CFTEA champions! Council members are always invited as observers to board meetings and may advance to become board members.

What does Natalie believe about joining as a new council member? “I wanted to become a council member of CFTEA as I see the value in what the organization has to offer. There are so many facets of banking and the finance industry that people are not aware of. I fell into banking fifteen years ago and have had an amazing career with a lot of variety and fun! I wanted to help people see the value and career options they find by working at a bank. I look forward to my voice on the council to help others at my organization, share my ideas with council members and help CFTEA deliver its mission.”

“CFTEA helps individuals and organizations develop a wide range of career skills. CFTEA also meets people right where they are – if a person wants to take one class, four classes, or pursue a certification or degree – it can be done through CFTEA. As a partner, I’ve experienced CFTEA’s support in taking training and development at an organization to the next level.”

Reflecting on CFTEA’s critical core values of Trusted, Flexible, Passionate, and Innovative Natalie struggled to focus on just one. “How do I pick just one to talk about? If I had to pick one I would have to go with Passionate. I have only been on the council a short time and can already feel the passion of those I have interacted with. On my very first video call, I was inspired by the energy of the group. It is very clear that everyone cares about learning and development for others. I am looking forward to getting to know other council members, sharing ideas, and really leveraging our connections.”

Council members provide a strong voice to CFTEA with learning on all sides as opportunities and challenges are discussed and appreciated. We so value adding the voice of Camden National Bank and Natalie to the community! Welcome aboard!
