Understanding Bank Products (ABA)


Designed for branch client-contact personnel with at least six months experience.

This program will give students an overview of the products and services offered by banks to meet the needs of consumer and small businesses. Gaining knowledge in the range of products offered by a bank will enable students to recognize when a client has a need and then suggest the appropriate product to meet that need. The bank product information contained in this course is presented in broad strokes and describes the products from the perspective of clients and their needs.

After successfully completing this class, students should be able to:
➢ Describe financial products in terms of features and benefits to the client
➢ Identify prospective clients for different categories of bank products and the clues that signal client needs
➢ Describe business banking product features and benefits
➢ Describe financial products and services in a way that demonstrates a client focus.
