That’s a question we get from organizations a lot. Most training providers say no, or say yes within tight limits. We tend to say yes, then ask what they actually need.
Twice this year, organizations have come to us with bulk enrollment needs that didn’t fit any of our existing programs exactly. Different industries, different goals, both needing self-paced programs at scale. The honest answer would have been “here’s what we offer, take what works.” That’s not the answer we gave.
We sat down with each organization and built what they actually needed. Different courses curated into each program. Different assessment structures. Scheduled feedback loops so leadership could track how their teams were progressing in real time. Not a workaround. A genuine collaboration on what the program would be.
We’ve gone further before. An organization once asked if they could embed their own policies and procedures inside a self-paced CFTEA course. We worked with their HR team, gave them access to update and annotate the course material, and produced a version of the course that was specifically theirs. Same delivery infrastructure. Their content woven in.
That’s not flexibility in the way most training providers use the word. Flexibility is offering a few options. This is partnership in the way the word actually means it.
Most education and training providers operate on a catalog model. They have a product. We have a practice.
It’s one of the reasons CFTEA has been doing this work for 100 years. The institutions that stay with us across decades stay because the partnership keeps deepening, not because the catalog stayed the same.
If your organization has a training need that doesn’t quite fit what’s on a typical training company’s shelf, we’re worth a conversation.
