Provides a high level overview of the general purpose and function of each key consumer privacy law that impacts banks and their customers: Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Taxpayer First Act.
