CFTEA Council Spotlight: Andy McClement Human Resource Administrator Franklin Savings Bank
CFTEA is thrilled to welcome Andy McClement of Franklin Savings Bank to the CFTEA Regional Advisory Council! Andy has been a long-time key supporter of CFTEA. “I have attended the CFTEA Leaders Conference for years and have always enjoyed the people and the events. I also strongly believe in CFTEA’s mission in providing high quality education for an affordable price point to further enhance the quality of bankers within my organization.
From the perspective of Human Resources, Andy is in the position to see the needs of all employees at Franklin Savings Bank. “I have seen firsthand the benefit of getting employees enrolled into courses that have not only been used to further their own careers, but also have been beneficial to our organization as whole. The knowledge and variety of courses within the CFTEA catalog stretch far beyond just the front-line bankers, we have seen success with a variety of roles who have utilized CFTEA’s educational offerings.”
As a non-profit organization, CFETA is focused on core values that enhance the experience for organizations and students. In reflecting on those values, Andy noted: “I would like to highlight the flexibility that CFTEA offers to employees. We all know that life happens and there are times when deadlines cannot be met for one reason or another. I have always seen CFTEA go above and beyond in helping employees finish their coursework if it was not submitted on time. On a personal note, I could also speak to passion, as I have attended the annual conferences throughout the years you can tell that the board, Andrew, and Tammy all share a passion for the employees they service through education.”
As Andy approaches his position on the CFTEA Advisory Council and actively supports the Communication Committee he appreciates the opportunity. “I believe just being more involved with an organization that I personally align with. Also, I am looking forward to getting the opportunity to deepen the relationships that I have been able to build throughout the years with members from the committees and board of directors at CFTEA. I am excited for this new opportunity to further develop my organization’s relationship with CFTEA!”
Congratulations to Andy for adding his voice in guiding CFTEA as a non-profit that supports employees, organizations, and the community! Council members provide a strong voice to CFTEA with learning on all sides as opportunities and challenges are discussed and appreciated. Welcome aboard, Andy!
