CFTEA Board President, Nancy Hines, has been awarded the CFTEA 2024 Making a Difference Award. The award is based on innovative thinking and inspiration. As a board leader, Nancy sets the pace for engagement and improvement within the organization.
After reviewing some vendor content, CFTEA was disappointed by the student experience. The solution? CFTEA would dedicate time and resources to create brand new courses that covered the needed content, but do it in a way that was engaging and beneficial for career advancement. Nancy was a key player in updating a large number of courses that were unique to the lending area. Her background and dedication allowed CFTEA to provide brand new content that is now proudly in our catalog and attached to certificates and diplomas. Without Nancy, the project would still be in process and CFTEA offerings would have been subpar. Nancy spent hours developing content, pulling in relevant case studies, articles, videos, and more to make each course a worthwhile experience.
